Matthew Rodrigopulle

Matthew Rodrigopulle is a Digital Broadcast Journalist at Global Regina.
Matthew grew up in Scarborough, Toronto, where he fell in love with news and sports. That led him to the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Journalism where he specialized in broadcasting and digital reporting. After university, Matthew worked as a producer and broadcast associate at Sportsnet in Toronto.
Matthew took the step out of sports and dove back into his love for news when he joined the Global Regina team in March 2022 as a live reporter.
Though he is back working in news, Matthew will always be an avid sports fan. He loves cheering on his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Blue Jays and other Toronto-based teams.
