KELOWNA — There’s only two places in the world you can find one.
Bitcoin is the world’s first virtual currency and early next month, the second ATM circulating that currency will be open for business in Kelowna, at a local branch of the Vancouver based Bitcoiniacs store.

“We’re seeing a high demand for bitcoin in the BC Interior and tremendous success with the first Bitcoiniacs store in Vancouver,” said local entrepreneur Mark Kohlen and manager of the Bitcoiniacs Kelowna store.
“We want to support bitcoin users who want to meet and trade directly and we are very excited to be chosen as the second location in the world to install a bitcoin ATM.”
The ATM is being installed at the Bitcoiniacs Kelowna store on Ellis Street.
