Albert Foulston ordered back to Alberta after breaching conditions

. File / Global News

EDMONTON – The man who was found guilty of killing an Edmonton police officer has been ordered back to Alberta after breaching conditions of his release.

Foulston was arrested in Trail, British Columbia on Sept. 28. RCMP received a call about an unwanted guest and when officers arrived, Foulston allegedly gave them a false name.

RCMP say he was arrested for breaching his conditions – which include not leaving the province of Alberta – and obstruction of a peace officer.

Foulston appeared in court in B.C. and was ordered back to Alberta. However, he is scheduled to appear in court in Rosslyn, B.C. on Nov. 7.

Foulston was found guilty in the 1990 killing of Edmonton police officer Ezio Faraone, and was convicted of manslaughter in the death 22 years ago.
