TORONTO — Canadian music duo Tegan and Sara are serving up a blast of ’80s pop with the song “Shudder to Think.”

The single is part of the soundtrack to the new movie Dallas Buyers Club starring Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto.

Ten per cent of sales of the soundtrack, which will be released Oct. 29, will support the (RED) foundation.

“I’ve been very excited about Dallas Buyers Club ever since hearing about the film,” Sara Quin told Rolling Stone. “With the soundtrack supporting such an important cause, we’re very excited to contribute a previously unreleased b-side to the campaign.”

The soundtrack also includes songs from My Morning Jacket, Fitz and the Tantrums, Neon Trees, Capital Cities, Airborne Toxic Event, Cold War Kids, The Naked and the Famous and Leto’s band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
