The Splash Festival’s Beach Bash took place on Saturday, August 17 at De La Salle Park in Jackson’s Point on one of Lake Simcoe’s beaches with water activities, cooking demonstrations and performances by local Ontario bands. Global Toronto’s Anthony Farnell hosted the event along with his sidekick, Storm, the weather dog. Festival-goers could take part in a sand sculpting contest on the beach, learn to kayak or canoe, visit local craft vendors and enjoy a day of fun in the sun.
Global Toronto had a tent on-site, which included the opportunity for people to get their photo taken on a Beach Bash background featuring Anthony Farnell and Storm. We also had colouring for the kids.
Global Toronto is a proud sponsor of the Splash Festival. Splash is committed to saving Lake Simcoe through water conservation and protecting the lake.
