SASKATOON – Environment Canada has ended all severe thunderstorm warnings on Monday in southern Saskatchewan.

Scattered thunderstorms are developing across the province ahead of a cold front dropping south from central Saskatchewan.

Meteorologists are tracking thunderstorms that are producing golf ball-sized hail and are capable of 90 to 100 km/h wind gusts.

The strongest thunderstorms are expected between mid-afternoon and the early evening.

Environment Canada reminds residents that severe storms can produce funnel clouds and tornadoes.

If threatening weather approaches, residents are urged to seek shelter immediately.

Residents can send in severe weather photos to saskatoon@globalnews.ca.
