DARTMOUTH, N.S. – Halifax police have taken a man into custody after an alleged attack with a baseball bat.
Officers were notified around 7 p.m. on Friday of an assault in the area of Primrose Street and Victoria Road in Dartmouth.

Police say they arrested a 41-year-old man, and recovered a baseball bat and a knife.
The suspect faces multiple weapons-related charges.
Police say a victim has yet to come forward.
