WASHINGTON – Mike Ribeiro scored 9:24 into overtime, and the Washington Capitals beat the New York Rangers 2-1 Friday night to regain the momentum – and the lead – in their first-round playoff series.
Ribeiro put in the puck after Troy Brouwer deflected a shot from the blue line.
