Officials presented a 10-year operations licence proposal to the commission yesterday in Saskatoon.

Cameco’s chief operating officer, Bob Steane, says the company plans to transition from the final stages of commissioning to the start of operations by the end of the year.

The commission will come back with a report outlining its decision in about two months.
