TORONTO – Justin Bieber, on a break from his Believe tour, is under investigation for battery in Los Angeles.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ reported Tuesday afternoon that the Canadian pop star is alleged to have threatened and made physical contact with a neighbour who complained about Bieber racing a Ferrari up and down the street.

Bieber, 19, is scheduled to resume his tour in Munich on Thursday.

Last year, police were called to a mall in Calabasas after a photographer alleged that Bieber threw a shoe at him during a confrontation. No charges were filed against the star.

In November, Ottawa police were called to Bieber’s concert at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa when a security guard at the venue alleged she was struck by a projectile from a Nerf gun Bieber was firing at his half-siblings.

Ottawa Police Service spokesman Cst. Marc Soucy told Global News: “On the day in question we did respond to an incident that occured at Scotiabank Place.”

Bieber was not charged.

Earlier this year, Bieber’s former bodyguard Moshe Benabou filed a lawsuit against the London, Ont.-born singer alleging he was punched in the chest several times during an argument in October 2012.

Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery as well as more than $420,000 in unpaid wages. The allegations have not been proven in court.

Bieber, who split from actress-singer Selena Gomez late last year, told Billboard in January: “I’m not in the happiest place that I’ve ever been. I try to get through what I’m going through.”

Earlier this month he tweeted “Worst birthday” after a London club reportedly denied entry to Bieber’s underaged friends.

During the U.K. leg of his Believe tour, Bieber had a run-in with photographers outside his hotel. Watch the video below:
