Concern is mounting in West Vancouver this morning over a missing man.
Matthew Ohman, 30, has not been seen since Friday afternoon in Squamish. He went for a walk with his wife last Friday by the river near Brackendale when she tells Global News he ran down an embankment in a “psychotic state” and never returned.
Squamish Search and Rescue confirm they went out searching this weekend for Ohman.
A Facebook group has been created to get the word out and keep everyone up-to-date.
“He has a family here that loves him and misses him, and we just want him back,” Jacelynne Joseph, Ohman’s wife told Global News. “He’s not in the right state of mind. All the time I’ve known him he’s never been like this. His family just wants him to come home.”
