CALGARY – Food trucks now have some permanent parking downtown, thanks to a new pilot project from the City of Calgary.
There are two parking spots reserved for the culinary vehicles in the surface parking lot just east of city hall.

The Calgary Parking Authority says truck operators will have to pay for the spot, just like anyone else.
Officials will evaluate how successful the pilot project is, in two months.
