With heated floors, high ceilings, open windows and a Land Rover parked in the garage – it’s an offer many can’t close the door on.

How about waking up in a spacious three-storey Port Stanley beach house every morning?

Or, perhaps simply pocketing $1 million in cash will suit the fancy.

The Dream Lottery is making sure everyone gets a good night’s sleep swooning over choices between a $1.1-million dream home luxury package, $1 million beach house condo, or $1 million in cash.

The lottery has raised just under $29 million in proceeds since 1996 to fund enhanced patient care, innovative equipment as well as research at the London Health Sciences Centre, Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Care.

“There are lots of lotteries in Ontario and many selling tickets in our region. But the dream lottery is the only one that guarantees the money stays right here in London,” said John MacFarlane, president and CEO of London Health Sciences foundation.

Funds have helped enable robotic surgery and imaging technology advancements in the city.

“It makes health care innovation come to London quicker,” said Michelle Campbell, president and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health Care foundation. “We’re known in Canada for a lot of those imaging advancements.”

The London grand package is set to ensure a year of relaxed living through funds to cover house cleaning, lawn maintenance, groceries, taxes, and gas for the Land Rover Evoque convertible, also included.

“This year of course we’ve got a much sleeker (home),” said MacFarlane of the London dream home. “I think it’s modern…It’s got white lines. The kitchen is amazing. It’s a fabulous finished basement with a bar. It’s just a house that you have to see.”

There’s more – $60,000 in cash to spend leisurely.

The London Bridlewood three-storey dream home, at 507 Bradwell Chase in north London, comes with a spacious modern finish, suiting the needs of any contemporary fashion lover.

Sherry Bocchini, chief development officer for Children’s Health Foundation, says it’s a win-win situation for many looking to buy tickets.

“The number of people that I connect with in the community that are here and can see themselves relaxing on the couch and being able to come down and enjoy time spent together with family really connects to our cause,” she said. “A really great ticket to be able to change your life and in the process, the lives of the children that we serve.”
