It appears that some White House staffers decided to have a little fun with Barack Obama as the president winds down his final days in office.

On Friday, Chief White House photographer Pete Souza shared on social media how staffers in the White House decided to have a little fun with some festive decorations in an attempt to prank the president.

“Sometimes you gotta have fun,” Souza wrote on Instagram. For the past three weeks, there have been four snowmen on display in the Rose Garden. We’ve been joking that we should move the snowmen a few feet closer to the Oval Office every day to see if anyone noticed,” the photographer wrote.

Souza said after realizing the decorative snowmen were too heavy to lift easily, staffers were able to get some assistance from “helpful staff” who were able to move “all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval.”

Souza shared another photo on Saturday showing Obama reacting to another snowman peeking into the Oval Office.
