The 23rd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees were revealed on Wednesday morning, with Manchester by the Sea leading the pack with a total of four nominations. The entire cast is nominated for Best Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, while Casey Affleck is up for Best Actor for his part in the film. Michelle Williams competes in the Best Supporting Actress category, while Lucas Hedges is nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
Affleck and Williams told ET Canada their new drama is “an emotionally painful experience,” but despite its tough subject matter, Affleck revealed the movie is more than just tragedy and tears.

For the television categories, these five programs garnered three noms apiece: The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Stranger Things, The Crown, Game of Thrones and Westworld.
