RCMP are on scene of a fatal collision in Abercrombie, N.S. Wednesday morning.
Pictou District RCMP were called to the intersection of Abercrombie Road and Trenton Connector at approximately 11:30 a.m., where a car and a dump truck collided. EHS and both Abercrombie and New Glasgow fire departments also responded to the scene.

Police said the woman driving the car died at the scene.
The intersection will remain closed for several hours as police continue their investigation. An RCMP traffic analyst is also on scene.
