Grey Cup: Stampeders lose leading receiver Marquay McDaniel early

TORONTO – The Calgary Stampeders lost leading receiver Marquay McDaniel to a shoulder injury late in the first quarter of Sunday’s Grey Cup.

The Stampeders posted on Twitter that McDaniel was done for the game.

He left at the 13:40 mark of the first quarter, and with Ottawa leading 10-7.

The five-foot-10, 210-pound slotback ran for 1,074 yards and four touchdowns on the regular season.
