Authorities say a road range incident led to a police takedown in Downtown Vancouver Friday afternoon.
Vancouver Police Sgt. Brian Montague says officers received a 9-1-1 call stating someone pulled out a gun during an argument over a parking space near Cambie and Broadway.
Officers located the suspect vehicle in Downtown Vancouver near Seymour and Davie Street and took two people into custody.
Witnesses say police had guns drawn while pulling two men from a van.
Montague says no gun was found by police and the original call may have been either exaggerated or inaccurate. Apparently a gun was not seen, only gestured to.
