He currently is the executive-in-residence at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina.

Perrins is expected to present his review to Morgan in December.

NDP  education critic Carla Beck is concerned about the quick time frame for delivering the recommendations.

“We don’t know exactly what the target is here. But I do think it’s very much time that we drop the guise that this is about improving education in this province. This is a budgetary exercise that is meant to look for cuts in our classrooms,” she said.
