WINNIPEG — The weather on Friday may be cooler than the past few days, but it is nothing to compared to four years ago.
On Nov. 11, 2012, a winter storm swept through southern Manitoba, dumping 25 centimetres of snow.
It was enough to create dangerous road conditions, and the TransCanada Highway shut down for 12 hours between Headingley, Man., and Brandon.

Within city limits, there were nearly 200 snow clearing crews on the streets.
At the time city officials estimated the clean up to cost around $750,000.
