Yesterday brought back the heat, today we get the heat and sunshine! What could tomorrow hold?
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
Saskatoon started out the day around the freezing mark, but quickly warmed up in the sunshine to our “normal” daytime high for this time of the year of 8 degrees by noon!
Mostly sunny skies will stick around through the remainder of the day with the mercury pushing up another degree or so this afternoon.
This heat has helped much of the snow to melt in the Saskatoon area, however there are still noticeable accumulations on the ground north of the city.
Tonight
The evening will start off mostly clear allowing temperatures to tip back toward and likely just below the freezing mark before clouds build back in overnight.
Saturday
It’ll feel like -3 with wind chill tomorrow morning under mostly cloudy skies that will stick around through the day as a disturbance passes by south of the city.
That disturbance will likely kick up some light rain tomorrow afternoon that’ll also contribute to temperatures being a bit cooler with an afternoon high around 6 or 7 C expected.
Sunday
Clouds are likely to linger on Sunday as the upper disturbance moves out of the area.
Our daytime high will sit back a bit again during the day with the mercury only expected to top out around 6 or 7 C once again.
Work Week Outlook
A rebuilding upper ridge will keep us in the warmer air for the beginning of the work week, however a few waves of moisture from a churning Pacific system will keep skies mostly cloudy.
On Wednesday we’re expecting the upper ridge to break down as a system slides through bringing in a chance of rain and dropping daytime highs from the 6 to 8 degree range early in the week back into the 3 to 5 C range to end the week under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
