Three families are still looking for answers after the deaths of their mentally ill loved ones shortly after leaving Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
This morning, a public inquest will look into the cases of Brian David Geisheimer, Sebastien Pavit Abdi and Sarah Louise Charles.
Maple Ridge resident Geisheimer, 30, died in Mission on Dec. 28, 2014; 19-year-old Abdi died at his Abbotsford home on Apr. 26, 2015 and Charles, 41, died the same day near her Abbotsford apartment building.
All three had been admitted to the hospital for mental health issues within days of their deaths.
The coroner and jury will hear evidence surrounding their passing and make recommendations to prevent further tragedies from occurring.
