A violent fight between two women on a TransLink bus was caught on video and uploaded to Twitter earlier this week.
While how the argument started is unclear, an older woman reportedly made a racist comment toward a black man in a wheelchair during the fight, according to a Twitter user who claims to have been on the bus.
A video then shows the woman spit on the man and a younger woman begins pushing the lady down onto a bench of seats and slaps her in the face. The woman then appears to fall in the other direction and down onto the floor.
All this happened while the bus was in motion.
Another video posted on Twitter shows the aftermath when the older woman claims that she will call the police as she blocks the man in the wheelchair from exiting the bus.
Transit Police say police in New Westminster are currently investigating the incident, which is said to have happened on the 106 bus in New Westminster on Aug. 25. There was no police report made following the incident.
