Weather forecast update at 4pm:
After many days of sun from a very persistent upper ridge, there is some uncertainty about Sunday evening.
A trough of cool air will swing across Northern BC on Sunday and we are unsure how far south this cool air aloft will end up.
Don’t worry – there is still plenty of sun ahead for Friday and Saturday, but we may see more cloud on Sunday afternoon and evening with a chance of showers.
The long range forecast points to the ridge rebounding, so even though we could see a small “bump on a pickle” Sunday night, warm and sunny conditions will return next week.
Friday’s daytime high range: 26 to 34C
