A woman has died of her injuries after she was hit by an SUV backing out of a driveway in Calgary’s Hawkwood community two weeks ago.
The woman was walking her dog on the sidewalk on July 28, when another woman reversed her Honda CRV and struck her.

Police said Friday the pedestrian passed away in hospital Aug. 8.
Police said charges are pending against the driver and the investigation is ongoing.
