WINNIPEG — The August long weekend is in our sights and most Manitobans will be smiling when they take a peek at the upcoming forecast.
Unlike the uncomfortable humidity we endured last week, this week will be much more manageable.
Humidex levels Monday will be into the mid-30s but Tuesday the level of stickiness will be much more moderate.
The average daytime high for Winnipeg right now is still sitting at 26 C, with an overnight low of 13 C.
This dry weather will hold out for much of the week, but the chance of a thunderstorm rolling through is always possible.
If the mercury hits 30 C today it will be only the third time this month we’ve hit 30 C or hotter.
July 4 we were 29.8 C and July 20 we hit 31.7 C.
