KELOWNA, B.C. – He’s been on the road playing gigs for 40 years, performing in Kelowna venues 30 times.
But for Kim Mitchell, the vineyard concert bowl at Cedar Creek Winery is a first.
“This is rock and roll grown up at its finest,” said Mitchell before the show.
Both of Mitchell’s performances Wednesday and Thursday were sell outs, with only 800 seats available over the two nights.
This summer, Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida and Matthew Good will also perform at Cedar Creek.
Funds raised by the performances will benefit the Rotary Centre for the Arts, an annual tradition for the Kelowna winery’s concerts featuring Canadian artists.
