WINNIPEG – Several infrastructure projects are up for debate at city hall during the final council meeting before the summer break.
On Wednesday, councillors will discuss replacing the Arlington Street Bridge, which is approaching the end of it’s lifespan.

The project could cost more than $300 million.
Councillors will also vote on using $8 million from next year’s budget to fix local roads during the current construction season and re-configuring a section of James Avenue to facilitate the redevelopment of a historic building on Waterfront Drive.
Annual safety inspections of rooming houses is also on the agenda.
While councilor Scott Gillinham is planning to put forward a motion related to making compensation details of city employees’ contracts public.
