Both the Jets and the Moose were hit hard by injuries last season. In the first year of their affiliation agreement with Tulsa, the Moose recalled eight different players in the 2015-16 season. Dan DeSalvo, Ben Walker, Axel Blomqvist, Aaron Harstad, Jimmy Lodge, Jiri Fronk, Brennan Serville and Jussi Olkinuora all split time between the Moose and Oilers last season.

The Jets were previously affiliated with the Ontario Reign before they moved to the American Hockey League.
