The Lethbridge Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying a a suspect in an armed robbery on the city’s north side. Police have released an image of a suspect captured by the store’s surveillance camera.
On Wednesday, June 15, just before 10:00 p.m., police responded to an alarm at Centre Village Liquor along the 200 block of 12 Street North. The clerk told police that a man entered the store, selected a bottle of liquor and then approached the counter. Police say he pulled out a weapon, threatened the employee, and demanded cash. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
