On Sunday, former CNN host Piers Morgan tweeted a comment about icon Muhammad Ali, who had just passed away two days earlier. He claimed that Ali made more racist remarks in his life about white people than GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has about Muslims.
After receiving hundreds of angry replies, Morgan faced the wrath of Hollywood couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, who took to the social media site to express their anger.

The war of tweets went on and on, starting with this one from Morgan.
Legend’s comeback was harsh and to the point.
Then his wife, Teigen, insinuated that Morgan’s full-time job is trolling people on the internet. It went on from there.
Teigen tried to shut the door on the argument by referring to movie The Sixth Sense, in which Bruce Willis’ character is dead without realizing it.

Morgan and Teigen followed up with a few extra tweets and things got personal.
To defend his Ali tweet, Morgan wrote a column for The Daily Mail Online, which can be read here.
