LAKE COUNTRY — Lake Country firefighters were busy cleaning vehicles to raise money for the Angel Award program on Saturday.
The car wash and barbeque, which was held in Winfield, allowed people to stop by, get their vehicle washed, check out the fire truck and chat with local firefighters while having something to eat.
The money raised for the program goes to the Arthritis Society earmarked for research to Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritic, say organizers.
The fourth annual Angel Awards gala will be held on June 25.
