This is the second straight season the Portage la Prairie product has won the award. It comes after Spiller led the Terriers to their second Manitoba Junior Hockey League title in as many years. Portage lost just eight regular season games en route to the Turnbull Cup victory.
The Terriers have captured six league championships, an Anavet Cup and an RBC Cup since Spiller took over as the team’s head coach in 2006.
