Get ready for more spring snow.

Environment Canada says a large Alberta clipper system coming in over the Great Lakes will deliver another batch of snow to southern Ontario on Sunday as a “very stubborn winter” refuses to end.

Areas near Lake Erie and most of the region are due to get around 2 cm, while those further north are to receive up to 8 cm. Meanwhile, areas around Georgian Bay and the Dundalk Highlands to the Haliburton Highlands could get up to 10 cm.

The snow will reach southwestern Ontario before hitting the Toronto-Hamilton area in the afternoon and other parts of the region in the evening.

A warm front and rain is set to follow the snowfall in the evening, with freezing rain and ice pellets possible as the temperature rises.
