Lockdown lifted at George Brown College’s Casa Loma campus

TORONTO — A lockdown at George Brown College’s Casa Loma Campus has been lifted after a report of an unidentified male armed with a knife in the area, Toronto police say.

Police responded to a call regarding two males fighting in the area of Kendal Avenue and Davenport Road at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Toronto paramedics say they treated one person at the scene with superficial lacerations.

Police say one of the two males fled the scene and a search is ongoing.

School officials advised students to stay in their classrooms until the scene was cleared by police.

The suspect was described by police as being in his late teens or early 20s, brown skin, 5’11” tall and with a skinny build.
