In a short but eerie video posted to Twitter by Applehead Studio, the wind howling through the large concrete structure sounds like the high-pitched cries of ghosts.

Applehead Studio comments “All. Day. Long.” on their video, suggesting the pitchy Banshee-like sound may have gotten a little annoying after a while.
Social media users were abuzz, posting videos of the #HalifaxHowl from several spots in the downtown area, with one tweeter saying you could hear the sound all the way from Citadel High School.
