Boundaries: Saskatchewan Rivers is mostly bordered by the Saskatchewan River to the south, the town of Big River to the west, and Tobin Lake to the east. It includes Prince Albert National Park, but areas to the northeast of Candle Lake are part of riding of Cumberland.
Last Election: Wilson defeated NDP candidate Jeanette Wicinski-Dunn by over 2500 votes, 66-31 per cent.
History: Like many rural ridings north of Saskatoon, the area directly north of Prince Albert has generally elected NDP candidates when the party has formed government in the last four decades—with the exception of 1999, when Daryl Wiberg was victorious for the Saskatchewan Party—and for the Saskatchewan Party and PC Party when they have formed government.
