WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed two players, including a former NFLer, as they continue to tweak their team.
Defensive back Jonte Green joins the organization with 24 NFL games to his name. The American was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He’s also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. Green has racked up 38 tackles, an interception and a sack during his NFL days.

The Bombers have also brought in offensive lineman Lawrence Martin. The American was signed by the AFL’s Tampa Bay Storm in 2014 following his senior season at South Florida.
