Caught on camera: bank manager thwarts robbery by holding door closed

A bank manager in Zebulon, N.C. was at the right place at the right time as he thwarted an attempted robbery.

Shortly after opening the bank on Thursday, the manager was gazing outside when he saw a masked man approach the door. He quickly reacted, holding the door closed, not allowing the potential robber inside.

According to a police statement, the suspect showed a handgun and knocked it on the glass door as he was trying to enter the bank.

The bank manager was able to hold the door closed and the would-be robber ran off. Police are still looking for the suspect.
