Vancouver police are asking the public to keep their eyes open for two rings stolen from a Canadian Olympian.
Former men’s national field hockey player and captain Scott Tupper represented Canada at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. On Monday afternoon between 3 and 4 p.m. a thief forced their way into Tupper’s home on West 8th Avenue, ransacked it and made off with a number of items including a priceless white gold 2008 Beijing Olympic ring and a UBC Thunderbirds alumni ring.
Both rings are irreplaceable Tupper said.
