TORONTO — Police have located a 12-year-old girl who left her home in Mississauga alone in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Peel Regional Police said Ayesha Siddiqua departed from her family’s apartment on Burnamthorpe Road at about 4:50 a.m. Police said she was located and reunited with her family Thursday afternoon.
Police believed she had left the home voluntarily and have released a photo of her from the building’s lobby at about 4:50 a.m. Her parents contacted police as soon as they noticed she was missing.
Police released several photos of the girl in hopes that people will call police if they see her.
