MONTREAL – Police are looking for as many as 20 potential victims after they arrested a West Island man for luring children over the Internet.
William Mayers, 55, was arrested on Nov. 12.

The alleged crimes took place between May 8 and June 24, 2015.
Police said a man using the pseudonym Bill48 had online conversations with an undercover police officer from Queensland, Australia, who posed as a 14-year-old girl.
The suspect may have also used the username billyam2400.
Officers said the suspect may have engaged in sexual conversations with children on mIRC and Skype.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
