‘That’s for Paris’: Russia inscribes message on the side of bomb in Syria after Paris attacks

The Russian military inscribed “That’s for Paris,” according to its UK Embassy, on the side of one of its bombs as it ramped up the fight against Islamic State militants in Syria in the wake of the Paris attacks.

A photo of the bomb was posted on Twitter by the Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom and showed a grey bomb with Russian text on the side. According to the embassy, it said “That’s for Paris.”

At least 130 people were killed amid several coordinated attacks last week at the Bataclan concert theatre, a restaurant, and a soccer stadium in Paris. Over 350 others were injured.
