WINNIPEG — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Winnipeg.
City crews are busy installing Christmas lights along several city streets.

The work started over the weekend and is expected to take seven days.
In all there are around 600 individual fixtures.
The lights flick on during the Santa Claus Grey Cup parade on November 28th and stay on until mid-January.
