Winnipeg Blue Bombers add three players

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced the signings of three players while also releasing another.

The Blue Bombers have added defensive lineman Ethan Farmer, running back B.J. Catalon and receiver Spencer Davis. All three are international players with no prior CFL experience.

Farmer, 23, started two seasons for the North Carolina Tar Heels and in his senior season made 43 tackles and two and a half sacks in 13 games.

Catalon, 21, played three seasons with the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. Catalon rushed for over 1,600 yards with 16 touchdowns. He was also used as a returner.

Davis, 23, can also return kicks and the receiver had 464 yards receiving with three touchdowns in his senior season.

The Bombers have also released running back Steve Miller from the practice roster after just a week with the club.
