TORONTO — Police have charged a 51-year-old driving instructor with sexual assault in Oakville, after a young woman reported alleged inappropriate sexual touching to police.
Halton Regional Police charged Basam Jajo, 51, of Oakville, with sexual assault and sexual exploitation after an investigation by the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Bureau.
Police said the young woman contacted them on Aug. 29 to report the sexual assault allegations against her driving instructor who was working for Ultimate Drivers driving school in Oakville.
An investigation conducted by officers revealed the alleged sexual assaults occurred from May to August 2015. On Tuesday, Jajo was arrested without incident.
He was released with a first appearance court date of Oct. 6 in Milton Court.
