REGINA – A 14-year-old boy is facing numerous armed-robbery related charges after finally being picked up by police on Friday night.
At around 10:50 p.m. police were called to the 3200 block of Montague St. to respond to an armed robbery where a man with his face covered had entered a convenience store brandishing a knife. He demanded money and cigarettes and fled the scene in a waiting vehicle.

A short time later police found the vehicle and arrested a 37-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy. The 14-year-old was charged with Armed Robbery and Disguise with Intent. The 37-year-old man was charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Schedule 2 Substance, and breach of undertaking.
Further investigation led police to charge the 14 year old in connection with two incidents on Saturday, August 22 and one incident on Friday, August 21. He now faces a total of four charges of Armed Robbery and four charges of Disguise with Intent.
Each of the accused will make their first court appearance on Monday morning.
