Weather update: Friday, August 28, 2015 5pm
The cool and damp weather in the forecast this weekend will hopefully help with the firefighting efforts.
A cold front will move through tomorrow with rain at times and the risk of a thundershower. It will be breezy as well especially in the afternoon and we can say goodbye to the valley smoke. Breaks of sun are possible tomorrow afternoon behind the front.
An upper trough is slated to stall over BC over the next several days. This will keep the pattern unsettled for next week – expect showers on and off with breaks in between and cooler than seasonal temps.
Weekend’s daytime high range: 14 to 24C
More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
