KELOWNA — The B.C. Wildfire Service is responding to a small brush fire on the Connector.
The fire is located near the Silver Creek pull-out just east of Brenda Mines.
It was reported at around 10 a.m. today.
A helicopter dropped off a ground crew while another chopper is on scene dropping water.

Fixed wind aircraft cannot assist due to heavy smoke causing poor visibility.
The fire is less than a hectare and was caused by a vehicle fire.
There are no reports of injuries.
