TORONTO – One Ontario woman diagnosed with breast cancer is fighting for a few more years with her children.

According to her GoFundMe page, which was set up by her sister, Reena Marwaha has a rare tumor that wasn’t affected by standard chemotherapy treatments. The cancer has also spread to her spine, lungs, and liver.

The latest health and medical news emailed to you every Sunday.

She’s now trying to raise enough money to head to the United States and try a new form of treatment that hasn’t yet been approved in Canada.

That treatment is approximately $250,000. The family has already raised over $100,000 as of 5:30 p.m. Friday.
